Highly awarded, highly sort after shiraz from an iconic-for-a-reason Barossa producer, from a 9/10 rated vintage no less. It’s really no surprise that these wines took multiple top gongs. Sourced from two nearly 90-year-old vineyards, this is the absolute top-of-the-range shiraz from a family-owned Barossa producer. It’s powerful and opulent, but maintains a certain grace that keeps everything in balance. There’s no surprises here with the flavour profile, an expression of blackberry, plum, chocolate, spices and cedar. After five years in bottle, it’s drinking beautifully now but has another decade of prime left in it for those patient types. This is truly one of the countries best. The 5 Other Mates
Starling Shiraz 2020
Barossa Valley. SA
1 bottle
Like a good book, wine is not all about what’s on the cover. But we have to say, when you’re getting great vino in some super sleek packaging, it’s a big bonus. This is the Barossa classic with a modern edge. Fruit-driven and rich, it hits every corner of your palate with pleasing intensity. The oak-imparted tannins make for a ripper time with some charred meat or veg, perfect for that easy weeknight in.

Gapsted Limited Release Shiraz Viognier 2021
King Valley, VIC
1 bottle
Shiraz and viognier are well acquainted with one another - the blend is common amongst the red wines of the northern Rhone. While the shiraz provides the fullness and the fruit, the viognier offers elegance and lift. Here ripe cherries, raspberries, and blackberries jump out of the glass, accented by a swirl of red flowers and sweet spice. This is cool climate shiraz done really well - a thin and persistent acid line persists through the finish giving lift and freshness to the juicy fruit. Crunchy, vibrant and utterly gluggable.

Mount Avoca Daly’s Cottage Shiraz 2019
Pyrenees, VIC

Five Stars Wine Orbit | Boutique Producer
Big and bold - shiraz that tends to amble around the glass. Plummy and plush, this is really packing a bit of oomph. Bright cherry red with magenta highlights with good intensity and slow legs on the swirl.
Delightful plum, raspberry and blackberry aromas with hints of cocoa, nutmeg and a supporting background of sweet toasty black pepper.
Abundant clean full-bodied flavours of blackberry, plum and ripe strawberries over a subtle vanilla and peppery oak background with soft stroking tannins across the palate.
Sourced from a selection of premium Victorian Shiraz vineyards. Traditional winemaking applied throughout.
