We can’t get enough of Tassie pinot (or chardy, or riesling, or anything really.) While some pinot can be a little thin, this is full and punchy. Cherry and strawberry lead the wine - but there is a noticeable amount of development from the little bit of age. Wet earth, spice, mushroom, some waxy prosciutto, and a little whiff of beetroot and rhubarb. There’s a lot going on here; a complex aromatic profile draped across well deployed oak influence, fruit weight and juicy, sappy acidity.
What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
