We've got to say, when did 2018 start feeling like forever ago? Well, we’re starting to call that aged in the eyes of wine in the bottle. For classic Barossa Valley shiraz like this, we often need a little time to chill, and after a long lie-down, this number is coming at us with energy, vibrance, and intensity. Vanilla and blackcurrants galore, with cherry, anise and violets playing their part too. Is that a whiff of pepper, I sense? I think indeed it is. The mark of a good craftsperson, there is certainly nothing to fault here.
