One of the big names in Coonawarra sourced the grapes for this wine from a vineyard planted nearly 50 years ago. Gentle patience has yielded great reward with these vines, yielding densely layered flavour in each and every berry. Although Coonawarra shiraz sometimes hides in the limelight of it’s cabernet sibling, we say no longer with this beauty! Bright fruits of so many varieties from berries to plums. Be ready for the firm tannins, becose those long ripening seasons build them up for long ageing potential. Match that all with outstanding perserverence on the finish, and you’ve got yourself a very tidy little number.
