Introducing a one of a kind shiraz from the ultimate cult producer. This juice was made in super small quantities and is extremely, extremely limited. A certain vino magazine described these guys as producing cult wines, so it’s not just us talkin’ rubbish either.
Born and raised in a vineyard more single than your cousin Bert, it takes just one sip to taste the hand-tended loving that’s gone into production. Bursting with an almost mythical mix of juicy plums and blackcurrants on the palate, a hint of cedar finishes off a killer combination of flavours. The label ain’t half bad either.

A J. Halliday Dark Horse Winery in the Yarra Valley, these grapes and their winemaker is a pairing on the scale of, like, Michelle and Barack Obama, which means great things are a’comin (to you). This bombshell has scored 93 Winefront points, 94 from Patrick Eckel, 95 from Sam Kim and, like the great power couple (the Obamas, not Eckel and Kim. Well, maybe them too, whatever) it’s intelligent, concentrated and freaking delicious, in all of it’s black cherry and blood plum glory. Boom town baby.

Bit of a tongue twister, but nothin’ compared to the ecstasy your tongue will twist itself into once it samples this full-bodied South Aussie red. The producer, who shall remain nameless, is a Clare Valley icon and this ‘15 shiraz lives up to its famous name. Expect rich red cherries and plums with touches of dried herbs and a long, firm finish. That’ll do tongue, that’ll do.
