There’s no shortage of people to line up and tell you that Aussie grenache is at the top of its game. More specifically, South Australian grenache. Even more specifically, McLaren Vale grenache. It’s the bees knees, and we find it hard to say no to any of them that come across our desk. So when our producer and Mofo fave winery came to us with some of their prized grenache blend, what could we say? Lifted aromas show off all that is great about this variety, but a sneaky little blend of shiraz and sagrantino gives the strength and power. What can we say, it’s just a ripping good time.
