Middle Earth is working its way into ‘cult fave’ here at the ‘Fo, and we can see why. This is small scale family winemaking with big impact. The wines have a lusciousness and a generosity to them that feels so rich and satisfying, and this gris is no exception. The fruit is full and weighty on the palate - nectarine, grapefruit, kiwi, peach - but the acid lifts and carries the wine through a long, tart finish. Fruit, richness, lift, length - what more could you ask for?
