What’s that? Is it a plane, is it a bird? No, it’s a Bordeaux Supérieur packaged in a neat ol’ wooden box. Pretty schmick, if we do say so ourselves. Merlot dominates the conversation, providing lusciously ripe fruits layed on cabernet tannins and power. Some cedar sneaks through, lifting the liquorice and dense blackberry core that strides confidently on the nose and palate. A little rendezvous with American oak speaks proudly of sweet coconut and vanilla, and provides that toasty, lingering hug that will have you pleading for more.
