This may be a mystery mixed pack but there’s no doubt it contains liquid luxury.

Founded in 1797, Domaine Louis Latour have remained family owned, independent and exceptional for 11 generations of winemakers. Their domaine covers 50 hectares, including 27 hectares of Grand Cru, making it the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in all of Burgundy. When it comes to the wines it ain’t a question of quality vs. quantity either, with Latour’s vinos consistently scoring highly and tasting even better.

The pack will contain either the ‘07 or ‘11 vintage of the Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne (RRP $280) along with five mystery wines, all from Domaine Louis Latour. There’s even a chance you’ll score a Grand Cru & Premier Cru.

The Corton Charlemagne is a brilliant yellow chardy, toasty with notes of vanilla, almond and mocha. It’s nutty – like the best of us – and both vintages picked up 94 points from various reviewers. It’s a special vino for special occasions – think Christmas, along with that seafood mango salad the family obsesses over.

The other wines? Well, that’s a mystery. But we have a whole range of Louis Latour’s Burgundies, be they chardy or pinot, and they’re all seriously impressive drops totalling a RRP of $900. It’s a luxury lucky dip and you may well get two of the same bottle, but we’ll make sure there’s a maximum of one double-up so you can get into a range of vinos.
