Everyone in the Barossa jokes that grenache is ‘Barossa pinot’, and we’ve finally found the one that really hits the nail on the head. When we first tried this around the tasting bench, some could have wholeheartedly sworn it was a pinot out of New Zealand, with all of that dense black forest and morello cherry intensity. Tinges of black pepper and a velvety palate make this a little more serious and full, add to that some American and French oak influence giving this beauty some plush vanilla and coconut accents. Lovers of grenache and all other reds will find plenty to fall for here.
