Our loyal Mofos know by now that our back-vintage finds are sometimes few and far between. We have to do a lot of convincing to get wineries to part ways with these pride and joys. But now we have the real treasure: cellared grenache. Not only are we talking about a ten-year old wine from a single vineyard, and from an iconic producer - this is one of our best grenache yet. Not too shabby if we do say so ourselves! Extreme power and elegance, with all the nuances that grenache so effortlessly brings to the table. Licorice allsorts and clove mingle with gamey complexities. You won’t miss that primary core of black and blue fruits that make this simultaneously light-footed. Now that’s what we call great winemaking.

Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
