Coopers Creek Plainsman Chardonnay 2020

There’s is nothing plain about ‘Plainsman’ chardonnay from Coopers Creek in Hawke’s Bay. This is a delicious wine from their Select Vineyards range, that are their ‘benchmark expressions’ across many varieties. This chardonnay is an absolute joy. It was given the magic combination of time in barrel, lees contact and full malolactic fermentation. These are the key winemaking techniques that build texture and richness in chardonnay. And rich and textural it is! Stone fruits and floral notes abound on the nose, and the palate is wonderfully rich, but balanced, with peaches, cream and a long finish.
