Adega Mãe Touriga Franca 2019

Listen up, everyone. It’s been widely talked about around the tasting bench that “heavy red wine drinkers will love this wine”, - and here is why. Straight from Adega Mãe, based in Portugal’s capital of Lisbon, these folks are known to pack a punch in their reds. There are heaps of rich fruits in this wine, plush and juicy blackberries sitting over dried herbs and a subtle meatiness. Touriga franca is one perfumed grape variety, and while technically medium-bodied, we find this one loaded with dark berries and a beautiful balance of savoury and sweet notes - it’s full and rich for the style. Once again, we love this flavour and know that even the fussiest of Mofos will too love this.
