Price Drop: Kirrihill Gleeson & Co Shiraz 2018

It’s Clare Valley shiraz from a crew that know the dirt and the climate like the back of their hand. Born and bred in the region before starting their own label over twenty years ago, Sean Edwards and Rob Stanway were two young blokes with a dream of creating wines of international standard. Fair to say they’ve achieved that, ringing in their fair share of awards and recognition for their rieslings, cabernets and shiraz. After all, it’s pretty astounding that you can achieve this level of complexity in a wine that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. The wine is inky black in the glass, exploding with dark chocolate, blackberry and interlaced tannins on the palate. Deciding to buy Clare shiraz ain’t rocket science...if you like the style, you’ll love this.
